"I Hate Being in Photos" - Here's Why You Actually Don't.

"I'm so awkward in photos".

"I don't know how to pose".

"I'll book one day, when I feel more confident".

If I had a dollar for every time someone said this to me, I'd probably be shooting from a beach in Europe right now.

But here's the truth no one tells you: you don't hate photos of yourself, you hate how you've felt in them.

The Real Problem Isn't You

Most people's experience with photos has been:

  • Being told to "just stand there and smile"

  • Feeling stiff, watched, and uncomfortable

  • Seeing a photo and immediately picking themselves apart

Of course you think you're not "photogenic". You've never been given the space to actually be yourself.

What Happens in My Shoots Instead

This isn't about perfect posing or forcing confidence. It's about music playing, laughing mid-shot, me guiding you the whole time so you're never just standing awkwardly, and capturing the in-between moments like the ones you don't realise were captured until you look at your gallery.

You don't walk away thinking "I hope there's one good photo". You walk away like "wait... that's actually me?"

Confidence Doesn't Come Before the Shoot

This is the biggest misconception.

People think they need to lose weight, feel more confident, or "get their life together" before booking. That couldn't be more from the truth.

But confidence doesn't come before the photos. It comes from seeing yourself differently after them.

This is Your Sign (Yeah, I said the phrase)

If you've been putting it off, this is it.

Not when you feel ready. Not when life slows down. Not when you "fix" something about yourself.

Now.

Because the version of you right now? She deserves to be seen too. If I do my job right, the confidence will come from me hyping you up behind the camera and telling you how gorgeous you are.

If you've been thinking about booking a shoot but something's been holding you back, send me a message. No pressure, just a chat about how you're feeling.

Or if you're ready to go - you know where to find me x
